Got to see the legend last night!
I was so happy to watch Buzzie come through the
field last night.
I'm a Burger King employee who was so happy that
BK got into racing, and that we could have David as our driver! I Zephyrhills
frequent visitor …as my Dad lives in Palm Tree acres of rt 54. I have driven by
the Reutimann hut and seen the cars sleeping!
Well last night I made it to Eastbay Racing …what
a great program, the winning double nothing 00 was a real pull for me.
The real question how could I get and
8"x12" picture of that winner circle picture? I would like to add this to my
office wall collection, P.S. right next to the autographed BK-David R. picture.
I had the great pleasure to meet David at a
BK-event @ the Miami office last year. I sure wish that our marketing would
understand the values of sponsor ship and the true racer following and what
loyal fans real mean.
But this is not my area of the origination.
I wish the Reutimann racing family a great
season of fun in the sun!
Have a Great day,

BUZZIE!
I am such a fan of the reutimans and I am pulling for David every week. I
used to watch Buzzie race when I was growing up in Tampa at golden gate
speedway in Tampa. You cannot imagine how excited I was the first time I
saw David Reutimann in a race! He is doing so good and am so happy to hear
Buzzie is still racing...WE lived in st pete and used to drive over every
Saturday night and see him race and I would go home so horse from cheering
for him. Keep it up you all your doing good or if this is not where David
is please let him know he has a huge fan here Hitchcock Texas. Can hardly
wait to get to the Nascar store and get my first Reutimann gear!

I grew up at Orange County Fair Speedway and loved watching Buzzie
and Wayne race. My dad raced with Frankie Schneider and Carl Van
Horne in the 50s then my brother Gary Decker raced a Sportsman all
through the 70's & 80s. My father passed away in 1990 and my brother
was killed in a fire in 2001. My mom and I have been watching David
in the NASCAR and are always saying Gary would have loved watching
him race. We both wish you the best of luck this weekend at Daytona.

Dear George,
I'm a former neighbor and 25+ year
friend of Dave Cruickshank of Dover Brake & Clutch, in N.J. Many years ago, I
made a display sign for the 00 Reutimann Modified Coupe that Mr.
Cruickshank still owns. I delivered the sign to them at an auto show in
Montgomeryville, Pa and had the great pleasure of meeting Buzzie and David and
taking pictures with them. David was kind of young then.
Subsequently, I retired and moved to
Ormond Beach, FL. My home is about 10 minutes from Daytona Int'l Speedway.
When the track is active, I can actually hear the cars running. Keeps me
feeling young.
Anyway, I just want to congratulate
David for his spectacular qualifying run for the Daytona 500. I was actually
screaming at the TV, "PUSH IT, DAVID! FASTER, FASTER! GO, GO, GO!". I almost
passed out when the Fox TV timer showed he was in 2nd place for a few seconds.
Of course, Waltrip had to push him back to 4th, but it is still a great
achievement. Amazing what a new crew chief and a better Toyota engine can do
for you.
I'll be watching the Duels and the
500 with a rubber tooth protector in my mouth! Better get some Nitro pills, too
(haha). An exciting week ahead and hopefully the recognition and advancement
David deserves. Emil must be a very proud poppa.
I'd love to meet David and Buzzie
for lunch some day while they're in town (I'll even buy), but I know that this
is probably out of the question.
Keep David flying!
